"pleasant pirates aren't appealing."

pirates, i'm specifically using what i consider a "humor referance". meaning, something that people already associate with something funny. in this case, pirates, whom are the subject to many humorous writings. at one point i didn't wanna get involved with these because i wasn't sure what i wanted Burning Prose to be. but at this point i decided it shouldn't BE anything. instead it should stay as vapor, seeming like anything without being a thing. but that topic is currently being discussed in my head. i'm not even sure if they're comic strips or not. again, the reason why they're in the "miscellaneous" section and not "comic strips". :\
